RESOLUTION -,F INTE-NTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL AND DESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED B" THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELLI
MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Kalispell Montana to extend the corporate limits and
to amend Section 347 of the Revised Ordinances of the City,of
Kalispell of 1947.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included
within the corporatelimits of the City of Kalispell, MDntana,
shwll be more particularly described as follows: Beginning at
the South West corner of Block 217 Kalispell Townsite Company's
Addition Number 3 to the City of Kalispell, Montana;
Then South 09 13' West nine hundred fifty one and six
tenths feet:
Then North 880 11, East to an intersection with the cen-
terline of a public way which is an extension of First Avenue West
in a Southerly direction;
Then North 00 07' West to the 6outh City Limits;
Then West along the City Limits to the point of beginning.

SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries as described
above will be to the best interests of the City of Kalispell
and the inhabitants thereof and of the inhabitants of the con-
tiguous tracts or parcels as described and further that it will
not materially the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell.
SECTION 4. That on the 6th day of February, 1950, at the ',ouncil
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Montana, at
7;30 o'clock P M., a regular meeting, the City Council will pass
upon all prote;ts that may be made against the extension of
these boundaries, the closing time for the filing of these protests
is hereby declared to be February 6, 1950, at 5:00 o'clock P.M.
SECTION 5. The "ity lerk os hereby authorized nd directed to
givegive the proper notice of the passage of this resolution
by publication as requhred by law, such publication to be made
in the Daily Inter Lake, a da ly newspaper published in the
City of Kalispell, Montana.
