RESOLUTIOU NO. 2146
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TEE SALE OF PROPERTY T�ELONGING TO THE
CITY OF KALTSPELL:
WHEREAS, The City of Kalispell is the owner of property in
Kalispell deFcribed as Lots Eleven and Twelve (11 and 12) of Block
One Hundred Ten (110) of the Original. Townsite of Kalispell Mont.
accollirind to the official map or plat thereof on file. and o� re-
cord in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead
which real property is adjacent to or near Flathead County High
School and is desired by Flathead County for building purposes
in connection with said High School;
AND INHEREAS, said real preperty is not owned or held by the
City of Kalispell in trust for any speci,ic purpose and an offer
has been made to the City of Kalispell in the sum of Five Thoudand
Dollars ($5,000.00) for said property and it is deemed and con-
sidere-, to be for the wlefare, advantage and best intere5t ofthe
said City and its inhabitants that said officer be accepted and
said property sold for said sum to Flathe�d County, a municipal
corporation;
BE IT THEREFORE 'RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Kalispell that the above described Lots in Kalispell be granted
and conveyed to Flathe,-id County, Montana, a municipal corporation
for a ensideration of Five Thousand Dollars ($51000.00) and that Ne
Mayor of the City of Kalispell be and he hereb is authorized and
directed to execute in the name of and on beh,1f of the City of
Kalispell a municipal corporation for the sum of Five Thousand
Dollars (J�Ooo.005 a good and sufpicient deed conveying to
Flat ead County, Montana, a municipal corporation, the above
described real property.
Passed and Adopted by the C;ity Council of the City of Kalispoll
by unanimous vote and Approved by the May this 2nd day of May
1949.
