BACKGROUND: A public hearing is necessary prior to amending the City's fiscal 2011
budget for the Airport Tax Increment Fund. The Council recently approved a redevelopment
project for Avail-TVN to bore under the highway and install fiber optics on the westside of Hwy
93 South. At the time the budget was adopted all redevelopment appropriations were removed.
The cost of advertising will be paid out of the TI F district as well.
RECOMMENDATION: Call for a public hearing for December 20, 2010

A MSOLUTION OF INTENT CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE
ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS SET
2011
FORTH BUDGET
WHEREAS, in the budget adopted by the City of Kalispell for the 2010-2011 fiscal year, certain
detailed and itemized estimates of expenditures of the Airport TIF Fund were not
included at the time of adoption.
NOW IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY THEREFORE,COUNCILOF
KALISPELL AS --- -
SECTION I. On the 20th day of December, 2010 at 7:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, 201 1st Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana, the City
Council of the City of Kalispell shall bold a Public Hearing on the following
amendment to the 2010-2011 fiscal budget:
Avail-TVN $21,451
For line item 2185-480-470240-354
For the purpose of running a fiber optic line under Hierhway 93 South.
SECTION II. That notice of the passage of this resolution shall be published pursuant to
Section 7-1-4127, MCA.
