ORDINANCE NO. 949
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 8-4.1, KALISPELL CITY CODE (ORDINANCE
NO. 710) TO PROVIDE FOR FOUR CENTS PER GALLON LEVY ON GASOLINE SOLD
AND DISPENSED AT THE CITY AIRPORT; TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 8-4.1 of the Kalispell City Code (Ordinance No.
710) is hereby amended to read:
Section 8-4.1. Airport improvement fund.
The city treasurer shall maintain an airport improvement fund,
and all monies deposited therein shall be budgeted and spent by
the city council for airport maintenance and improvement pur-
poses only.
All persons and firms selling or dispensing aircraft fuel at
the city airport shall levy and collect an assessment of four
cents per gallon on each gallon of aircraft fuel sold or dis-
pensed at the city airport. All money so received shall be
collected monthly by the city treasurer and deposited in the
airport improvement fund.
SECTION 2. This ordinance is effective thirty days after final
passage and adoption hereof.
