Resolution 2088 - Resolution of Intent - SID 276RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CHEATE SPECIAL IMPROVEWENT DISTRICT NO. 276
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,.
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City
0 lispell to create a special improvement district hereby desig-
nated as Special Improvement District No. 275, and said Improvement
District shallba for the purpose of Installing a sanitary sewer in
the alley of the Parkview -Addition. Commencing at a point which is
the center line of Seventh Avenue East North with its intersection
with the center line of the alley of Block 1, Parkview Addition and
extneding easterly a distance of 385 feet to the west property line
of Lot 8, Block 1, Parkview Addition.
Section 2. That the general characte r of the improvements to be made
Tn —said proposed special improvement district is the Installation of
a sanitary sewer with a concrete manhole at the beginning and the end
of this proposed project.
Atallon_J. That the approximate cost of said improvements is S�00.QQ
Jiqq_tioa 4.,. That the entire cost and expense of such improvements'shall
be assessed against each lot within such district to be assessed for
that part of the whole cost which Its area bears to the area of the
entire district.
SeC112L..L That said assessment shall be paid for In three equal
annual installments hereby extended over a period of three years,
Said assessmentshall constitute a fund to be known as Special Im-,
provement District Fund No. 275.
Section_6,t. That said improvements s hall be paid for in Special Im-
rovement district warrants issued against said district In the sum of
100.00 each, bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum from the date
of registration until called for redemption or paid in r-all.
Sectim-2, That on the 2nd. day of September, 1947, at the Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Montana, at 7:30
o'clock P. M., a regular meeting the City Council will hear and pass
upon all protests that may be maJe against the making of such Improve-
ments or the creation of such district.
Section 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give
the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication
and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the
Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell,
Montana.
