Resolution 2087 - Resolution of Intent - SID 275RESOLUTION X0._22L7 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 110. 2�75 bE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL: section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement district hereby desig- nated as Special Improvement 1�istrict No. 274, and sald Improvement District shall be for the purpose of installing a sanitary sewer in the eleventh alley west of Main in the area between Western Addition and Meridian road, and in Stormis Meridian Lots more particularly de- scribed as follows; beginning at a point which is the intersection of the tenth alley west of Main with fifth Street West a concrete man- hole, and extending West on the center line of fifth Street to its intersection with the center line of the eleventh alley west thence north on the center line of said alley to its intersection with the south property line of Railroad Street West, also extending west at right angles from the center line of the eleventh alley west from the property line between Lots 3 and 4 Block 13, Western Addition to Mer- idian Road,thence westerly along tL south property line of Lot 3 Block 3 Storm's Meridian Lots, to its intersection with the center line of the alleys of said Block thence west on the center line of the alley to tie east property line of Lot 13 �lock 3 Stormts Meridian lots andz,also north on the center line ol the alley of -block 3 and on the center line of both alleys in Blocks I and 2, Storm's Meridian lots. Also extndeing westerly md at right angles t,olhe eleventh alley west from the property line between Lots 3 and 41 J11ock 14 Western Addition, also westerly at right angles from the eleventh alley west from the property line between Lots 3 and 4, Block 17 Western Addition. Section 2. That the general character of the improvements tobe made In -said-7roposed special improvement district is the installation of a sanitary sewer with a concrete manhole at all intersections of branch line sewers and where sewer changes drection of flow andat the extreme end of each branch line. Section 1. That the apDroximate cost of said improvements is Section 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improvements s hallb,- assessed against each lot -within such district to be assessed. for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district. Section 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in three equal annual-I—xistallments hereby extended over a period of,three years. Said assessment shall constitute a fund to be knownM Special Imp- rovement District �Vnd No. 274. Section 6. That said improvemonts shall be paid for In Special Im- provement Aistrict warrants issued against said district in the sum of $100.00 each, bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum from the date of registration until called for redemption or paid in full. Section 7. That on the 2nd. day of September, 1947 at the Council Chamber in the City i1all of the City of Kalispell, Lntana,,t 7:30 o'clock P. M., a regular meeting, the City Council will hear a nd pass upon all protests that may be made against the making of such improvements or the creation of such district, Section 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and mailing as required by kaw, such publication to be made in the Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper publiched in the City of Kalispell Montane.
