RESOLUTION NO. 3148
A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE NAME OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF
KALISPELL WITHIN POSTON ADDITION, BROWNS ADDITION AND AIRPORT
ADDITION TO AIRPORT ROAD, AND DIRECTING THE CITY DIRECTOR OF
PUBLIC WORKS PREPARE AND FILE APPROPRIATE PLAT REFLECTING
SAME.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL bF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, within Poston Addition, Browns Addition and Airport
Addition to the City of Kalispell, a certain north -south street
extending from the 1300 Block southerly to the Kalispell City
Limits, has been duly dedicated as a public street and has been
named South Main Street; and
WHEREAS, a request has been made of the City of Kalispell
to change the name and designate said north -south street as
Airport Road; and
WHEREAS, none of the property owners abutting said street have
objected to so naming said street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find it to be in the best
interests of the City and the inhabitants thereof to so name and
designate said street,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA:
1. The above described public street within Poston Additiont
Browns Addition and Airport Addition of the City of Kalispell,
extending from the 1300 Block southerly to the Kalispell City
Limits, shall be and hereby is named and designated as "Airport
Road.'.
2. The City Director. + of 'aublWorks is hereby directed to
prepare a plata-bowing such Mangelot name and present same to
the r Council pproval, a upon such approval being given, file
