RESOLUTION NO. 2290
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE BELONGING TO ITIE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA
WHEREAS, The City of Kalispell is the owner of the Municipal Airport property
located in Section 20, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, and it is desired
by the United States Forest Service to acquire a site on the airport,
approximately 300 feet square for the purpose of erecting a Forest Service
-warehouse thereon, more particularly described as follows:
A tract of land approximately 300 feet square situated in the SW4NW4 of
Section 20, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, M,P,N,, and being more
particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner
of Section 20, Township 28 North, Range 21 West; thence South 0006, West
1802.5 feet along the westerly boundary of said Section 20; thence east
30 feet to the easterly boundary of the County road, the true point of
beginning; thence east 300 feet; thence south 00061 west 300 feet; thence
west 300 feet to the easterly boundary of the County road; thence North
OoO61 east along the easterly boundary of the County road 300 feet to
the true point of beginning, and containing 2.07 acres more or less.
Subject, however, to the reservation in the grantor of easements for
rights -of -way for underground water conduits and an underground sewer line.
Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
AND WHEREAS, the said real property is not owned or held by the City of
Kalispell in trust or for any specific purpose, and an offer of $828.00 has
been made by the United States Forest Service for the above described
property, which offer is deemed to be adequate for said properly, and it is
also deemed to be in the best interests of the City of Kalispell, that such
offer be accepted;
BE IT HEP10Y RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
that the above described land be conveyed to the United States of America
for the sum of �828.00, and that the Mayor of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute in the name and on behalf
of the City of Kalispell, Montana, a municipal corporation, a good and sufficient
dead conveying the above described real property.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
by unanimous vote this 21st day of May, 1956.
