RESOLUTION AMENDING AND CORRECTING RES&"',UTION NO. 7OF a TY
OF KALISPELL EXTENDING THE CORPORATE LIMITS AND DESCRIBING THE
BOUNDARY OF SAID CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELLI MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That whereas there was passed and approved by the City C
Council of the City of Kalispell, on June 20, 1946 a resolution,
No. 2017, extending and describing the corporate limits of such City,
and
WHEREAS the description contained in such resolution was and is
erroneous in that reference is made in such description to Block
3 of Fisher's Addition to Kalispell as a portion of the boundary
of said City as extended which reference to Fisher's Addition makes
such description is manifestly impossible of completion and closing, and
VA�EREAS the reference intended was to Block 3 of high School Addition
and by inadvertence and mistake the words "Fisherts Addition" were
used in such description in place of "High School Addition" as was.
intended and which was according to the action of the said City
Council in extending and defining such corporate limits and bou-ndary.
SECTION 2. Be it further resolved by the City Council of the City
of Kalispell that the true description of the tracts or parcels of
land embraced within the City of Kalispell pursuant to said Resol-
ution No. 2017 be as hereinafter set forth and Section Number 2 of
said Resolution No. 2017 and it is hereby amended and corrected to
read as follows:
The tracts or parcels of land so embraced and included within
the boundaries of the City of Kalispell, as herein provided
are particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point
where the present City limits intersects the South boundary
line of the Great Northern Railroad Company's right-of-way,
approximately on the center line of 8th ' �ve. West extended,
thence in a Westerly direction along the South boundary line
of said right-of-way to an intersection with the West boundary
line of Meridian Road or County Highway; thence South on said
boundary line to its intersection with the North line of the
SEJ/NEJ of See 3, Twp. 2F 1 R. 22; thence West on the North
boundary line ;f,the SEi/NEi of Sec. 13, Twp. 28, R. 22, a
distance of 792 feet, more or less, to an intersection with
the East boi�ndary line of the right-of-way of the Great
Northern Railway Company's Somers' Branch; thence along said
Eastern boundary in a South-Ensterly direction, a distance
of 725 feet, more or less, to the Southwest corner of Storm's
Addition according to the map or plat thereof on file and of
record in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder of
Flathead County; thence East on a line at right angles to
the West boundary of Meridian Road, a distance of approximately
500 feet, to a point 150 feet West of the West boundary of
Meridian Road; thence at right angles in a 6outherly direction
and parallel with the 'Nest boundary line of Meridian Road for
a distance of 320 feet; thence East at a right angle, a dis-
tance of 150 feet to the intersection of the West boundary
line of Meridian Road; thence South along the West boundary
of Meridian Road, a distance of 620 feet more or less to an
intersection with the "outh boundary line extended, of Custer
Avenue of Ashley Townsite as shown on the map or plat of
Ashley Townsite now on file and of record in the office of
the County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Montana;
thence Easterly along the South bouniary line of said Custer
Avenue to the Northwest corner of Block 3 of said Ashley
Townsite; thence in a Northeasterly direction to the Northwest
corner of Block 3 of High School Addition to Kalispell as
ahown by the map or plat thereof on file and of record in the
office of the County Clerk and Recorder of Flathe,�,d County,
Montana; thence in an Easterly direction along the North
boundary of said Block 3 of said High School Addition to an
intersection with the West boundary line of Ilth Avenue West

of Kalispell; thence in a Southerly direction along the
�Vest boundary line of 11th Avenue West to an intersection
with the center line of 8th Street West of Kalispell; thence
in an Easterly direction along the center line of 8th Street
West to an intersection with the City limits line of Kalispell
as now established; thence in a Northerly direction along
said city limit line to an intersection with the South
boundary line of the right-of-way of the Great Northern
Railway Company, the place of beginning.
Passed and approved by the City Council of Kalispell this
26th dav of December, 1946.
