Resolution 2003 - Resolution of Intent - Extend Corporate Limits171, RESOLUTION NO. 2201 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AND DESCRIBING TEE BOUNDARIES THEREOF. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA: SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council or the City of Kalispell, Montana, to extend the corporate limits and to amend Section 232 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell of 1928. SECTION 2. That the proposed additional. area to be included within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell Montana, shall be more particularly described as follows: All of that portion of the SWj/SWj- of Section Seven (7), Township Twenty-eight (28), Range Twenty-one (21) West MM, lying south of the Great Northern Railway Company's Right-of-Way� all of the NW-J/NWT' of Sec. 18, Twp. 28 N7 R. 21 W. except that portion north of the south boundary line of the Great Northern Companyls Right -of -Way; all of the SWJ/NWJ� of Sec. 18, Twp. 28 N.1 R. 21 W.; all of Blocks I and 2, Ashley Township and all of Blocks 1, 2 and 4 of the High School Addition- all of that portion of the 5E-J/NEJ of Section Thirteen 43), Township Twenty- eight (28)', Rang- Twenty-two (22) lying east of the Somers' branch of the Great Northern Company's Right -of - Way; all of that portion of the NEj/SEj of See. 13, Twp. 281 R. 227 lying north of Ashley Creek and east of the Somers' branch of the Great Northern Company's Right- of-way. SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries as described above will be to the best interests of the City of Kalispell and the inhabitants thereof and of the inhabi- tants of the contiguous tracts or parcels as described and further that it will not materially mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell. SECTION 4. That on the _�rd day of June, 1946, at the Coun- cil Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Montana, at 7:30 o'clock P. M., a regular meeting, the City Council will pass upon all protests that may be made against the extension of these boundaries, the closing time for the filing of these protests is hereby declared to be May 31, 1946, at 5tOo o'clock P. M. SECTION 5. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the Inter Lake, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell?
