Resolution 1985 - Resolution of Intent - SID 248RESOLUTION NO. 1985 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 248 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELLt MONTANA: SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement district hereby designated as Special Improvement District No. 248 and sald Im- provement District shall include Blocks 252 253 354 2551 2561 257, 258 and 259, Kalispell Addition No. 8 to Kalispeil Towasite com- mencing at a point which is the center line of llth St. Eas� at the intersection of the alley between 6th and 7th Ave. E., a concrete manhole, extending East on center line of llth St. to the intersection of the alley between 8th Ave. E. and Woodland Ave., a distance of approximately 732 ft., more or less, thence north on the center line of the alley between 8th Ave. E. and Woodland Ave. through Blocks 252, 255 and 256; also, south on the center line of the alley of Block 258; also, south on the center line of the alley of Block 259; also north on the center line of the alley of Block 253, 254 and 257. SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed special improvement district is the installation of a sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances. SECTION 3. That the approximate cost of said improvements is T9-2-00.00, an approximate cost of $100.00 per lot. SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improve- ments shall be assessed against each lot within such district to be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district. SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in three equal annual installments hereby extended over a period�of three years. Said assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No. 248. SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special Improvement District 6arrants issued against said district in the sum of $200.00 each, bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum from the date of registration until called for redemption or paid in full. SECTION 7. that on the first day of April, 1946, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Montana, at 7:30 o'clock P M., a regular -meeting, the City Council will hear and pass 4on all protests that may be made against the making of such improvements or the creation of such district. SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the pas8age of this resolution by publication and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
