Resolution 1955 - Resolution of Intent - SID 246K RESOL11TION NO.--1955— RESOU7ION OV T�TP-UTPION To Ca -FATE SPECIAL DISTRICT NO. 246 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY (',OMCIL OP THE CITY OF KALTSP7U, VONTAM,% SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement district, hereby designated as Special Improvement District No. 246, and the boundaries of said proposed special improvement district are hereby declared to be as follows.- Commencing at a point which is on the south property line of 5th street W"., at a -center line between 6th Ave. W. and 9th Ave. W., and exteriding north a distance of approx- imately 662 feet in the alley of Block 1?3 and Block 171, Addition Fo. I to a point which is the south property line of Lots 1 and 12, Block 171i Addition No. 1, Kalispell Townsite. SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed special improvement district is the installation of an eight inch sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances. SECTION 3. That the appro7,imate cost of said improvements is 11,1400.00. SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improvements shall be assessed against each lot within such district to be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district. SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in three equal annual installments hereby extended over a period of three years. said assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No. 246. SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special Improvement District Warrants issued against said district in the sum of $100.00 each, bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum from the date of registration until called for redemption or paid in full. SECTION 7. That on the fifth day of Zune, 1944, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Montana, at 7.30 P. V.,, a regular meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon all protests that may be made against the making of such improvements or the creation of such district. SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and mailing as required by law, si.ich publication to be made in the Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell.
