."HEREAS, the 3tate Highway proposes to purchase a tract of land
in the NWJSwry� of Section 8, Twp. 28 N. Range 21 West, including
what would be. if extended, Sixth Avenue Nast 1�orth, from the
north boundary of the Kalispell Lumber Coiapany tracts to the
north boundary of the Great 1�orthern R-,iilway right of way, pro-
vi(Jing a clear title can be secured thereto, and
AYTIEREAS, the City of Kalispell owns an easement along the north
boundary of said Great Northern right of way, -which easem�,nt
was used in connection with the ori.ginal water plant now aban-
doned, and
,7111BREAS, Mayor 13ruckhauser, after causing due and careful in-
vestigation, found no purpose or probable use of the said ease-
ment by the City of Kalispell. �`Ihereupon he executed a Qutt Glain
Deed tliereto on November 1,�, 193b, duly -Ittested by the City Clerk
and 3uperintendent of the �7ater Department; therefore
RE, IT TRESOLVED that this Council do herebly ratify and confirm
said action of the City Of�icials in the execlition of said Quit
Claira Deed.

approved by the "ayor on the 2nd day of December, 193,15.
