Sectic)n 1. The federal government ]�,as provided funds and intends to
provide funds 1� the future to the amount of $31,731.55 for the purpose
of constructina and carryin-c to completion the Municipal Golf Course
Project, and it is necessary'- that the City of Kalispell provide funds to
be excended for ,qateriql, equipment, rentals, supplies and supervision
in con.junction with the amount to be "Curnishod by the Pederal �7overnment.
Section 2. Viat by reason of the fact that the City of KaIispall has in-
sufficient funds available for the purposes set forth in piraeraph one
he,�,eof, it is necessary that emergency warrants be issiipd in a sin not
exceeding 110,000.00, for the above purpose, to be designated relief warrarit,;
and that the same shall be payable from a fund to be known as the Emergoncy

elief Fund of the City of Kalispell, which fund shall consist of all moneys
received by the City of Kalispell from the soiarces provided by law.
Section 3. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Kalispell, for the purpose of providing money with which to pay said war-
rants, to, in the year, 103B, at the time of fixing its annual tax levy,
provide a levy of two Paills upon the taxable property within the City of
Kalispell, and like levy in the year 1030, providing the Same is necessary.
Section 4. That it is proposed to coroience issuing said warrants on and
after the 28t1i day of May, 1938, unless there shall be filed with the City
Clark of the city of Kalispell, previous. to said date, a petition opposing
the construction of the said pro.lect herein described, which potlticn shall
ecirtain the naraes of as rqany as ten per cent of the qualified electors
votinC in the last reneral election within the corporate limit s of the
City of Kalispell.
Sectlon 5. This resolution shall be published in the "Kalispell Times",
being a newspaper of gen,,:�ral circulation published in the City of Kqlis-
pell for four consecutive issues thereof, commencing
on the 21st day of
April, 1`.�39.
