A RESOLUTION DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND AUTHORIZING EXPEND*
ITURVS IN EXCESS OF THE BUDGEET TO MEET MANDATORY EXPENSES RE-
QTJTRF,D 3Y LAW OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL.
BE IT MOLVED.BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the current budget of the City of Kalispell failed to
provide sufficient funds to pay the expenses incident to the
general municipal election held in the City of Kalispell the first
Monday in April, 1934; and
WHEREAS, such expenditures exceed the amount provided by the
budget in the sum of $40.00 and it is necessary and mandatory that
the same be paid;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLV7,D, that an emergency is hereby declared to
exist under the provisions of the second paragraph of section 8
of Chapter 121 of the Laws of the Twenty-second Legislative
Assembly of the State of Montana, and that the curre4t budget be
exceeded in the said sum of $40.00 and that emergency warrants be
drawn against the funds properly chargable with such expenditure
and that the City Treasurer is authorized and directed to pay such
warrants with any money in any fund available for that purpose, and
if there is not sufficient money available to PSY such warrant, then
the same shall be registered, bear interest and called for payment
in the manner provided for by law for other City Warrants.
This being an emergency Resolution as set forth herein the same shall
take effect and be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage and approval.
The foregoing Resolution unanimously adopted by a vote of all
members Present at a meeting of the City Council of the City ct
Kalispell, held on the 7th day of May, 1934.
