CURRENT BUDGET FOR THE COITPIETION OF T11E BALL PARK. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE OITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA: WHEREAS, the Civil Works Administration of the United States provided funds for the making of certain improvements upon the ball park of the City of Kalispell, and which funds were insufficient in amount to complete such improvements in a manner whereby such park would serve the purposes for which it was established; and WHEREA3, There are no further funds available from the Civil Works Administration and unless said improvements are completed the usefull- ness of said park and the improvements so far constructed will become Valuless; and WHEREAS, said work was commenced for the purpose of giving relief to the community overtaken by the calamity of the depression and tt is necessary and proper that such work undertaken under such conditions be oompleted out of the funds of the City of Kalispell available for that purpose; BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Kalispell that by reasQn �)f the faets as hsTeinbefl3re stated that an emergeney is hereby declared to exist under the provisions of the second paragraph of Section 8 of t�hapter 121 of the lawa of 'the Twenty-second Legislatte Assembly of the State of Montana, and that expenditures in excess of the current budget of the City of Kalispe 11 be exceeded in the sum of$900.00 for the purposes herein set forth, and that emergency warrants be drawn against the fund or funds properly chargable with such expenditure and that the City Treasurer is authorized and directed to pay such warrants with any money in such fund or funds available for such purpose, and if at any time there shall not be funds avail- able to pay such warrants, then the same shall be re-istered, bear interest and called for payment in the manner provided by law for other City Warrants. This being an emergency Resolution as herein set forth the same shall take effect and be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval. The foregoing Resolution unanimously adopted by a vote of all members present at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Kalispell held on the 7th day of May, 1934. _T_ P.
