A TRACT OF LAND NECESSARY FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE CITY WATER 3UPPLY,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE couNcil, OF TH-�, CITY OF KALISP!�LL, MONTANA:

�N the W. N. Noffsinger �,'stateqincorporated) is the owner
of a tract of land of approximately fifty-three acres lying and ',-)e-
ing to the West and North of the grounds upon which the pumping plant
of the water works of the City is located, upon which tract of lan(i
is located a "lowing spring which it is necessary for the City to
acquire for the purpose of' protecting its water supply for future
years, and said estate is desirous of selling the entire tract and
in order for the City to acquire title to said spring it will be
necessary to purchase the entire tract of fifty-three acres:

Noffsin��_r Estate (incorporated) for the use and benefit of the
Water Works Department of the City of Kalispell, for a sum not ex-
ceeding 41500.00, and that the Superintendent and Treasurer of the
Water Works Department are hereby authorized and directed upon the
approval of the title and delivery of' a Deed to said land, to execute
and deliver a warrant or check upon the funds of the water works
Department in payment therefor.
Passed by the Council of the Gity of Kalispell, i"Jontana, and
approved by the Vlayor on the 7th day of October, 1935.
