RESOLUTION CALLING FOR BIDS for the purpose of letting a contract
to excavate approximately 4800 feet of trench on Railroad Street, and
for laying 18 - 16 and 8 inch pipe, and fittings, setting Valves and
hydrants as per J)lans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer
an file at the Water Department office in the City of Kalispell;
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kalispell will call for bids,
for contracting 4800 feet of trench on Railroad Street, for laying 18
16 and 8 inch pips, -and fittings, setting Valves and hydrants as per
plane and specifications prepared by the City Engineer and on file at t
the Water Department Office.
NOW, THEREFORE the City, Clerk of the City of Kalispell is ordered
to advertise in the Kalispell Times A weekly newspaper circulated gen -
erally throughout the County of Ylathead, State of Montana, for bids
said bids to be opened by the City Clerk in the presence of the City
Council, at the next Special or Regular meeting, the City Clerk is here
by ordered in advertising for the award of said contract to comply with
section 363-364-365-366-367-368-369 and 370 of the revised ordinances
of the City of Kalispell, of 1922., said bids to be opened at a Special
meeting called for March 24th, 1924., at 5:00 o'clock P. M.
This measure is an emergency measure and is effective immediately
upon its passage and approval.
