'RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAl' IVPiIOV�00NT DIISTRICT N0.199.
BE IT RESOLVIED BY THE CITY C01MCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISF-JML, MONTANA.
Section 1. ThRt it i8 the intention of the City Council of the
City of Kalispell, to createaspeciak improvement district, hereby
designated Special Improvement District No. 199, and the boundaries
of said propozed epecial improvement, d1strict are hereby declaxed. to
be, as follows� isegihning at a point in the center line of2jurth stree�
which is the point of intersection of 4th 5treet and First Alley West;
thence weot along the center line of Fourth Street to a point Which
is �the intersection of 4th Street and Second Alley West; thence south
along the center line of 2nd Alley West to a point which is the oenta.r
line of Ninth Street; thence east along the center line of Ninth
Stret
ct to a point which is the center 3.1ne of Ist Alley West, thence
north along the ceater line of let Alley West to the place of begin-
n ing.
Section 2. That thErgeneral character of the improvements to be
made in said proposed Special Improvement DJstriot is as follows, to-17t,;
Concrete curb on both r3ides of First Avenue West and to return to the
First -Aventie Property Iu*s of First Avenue West at the Street intpr-
sections.
Section 5. That the approximate cost of said improvemento is $2000�00.
Section 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improvements,
i-hcluding street and alley intersections, shall be assessed against the
entire district, each lot or parcel of land within such district to be
assessed. for that part of the whole cost which ita'area bears to the area
of the entire dietrict exclusive of streets, alleys and public places.
Section 5. That said assessment ahall be paid for In five equal
annual installments hereby extended over a period of five years. Said
assessment ahail constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement
District Fund No. 199.
Section 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special,
Improvement District Coupon Warrants issued against said district in
the sum of $100 each, bearing interest at 6 peilcent. per annum from the
date of reL,,,istration until called for redemption or paid in full, interest
payable annually on the first clay of January of eachyear, payable five
years from date and redeemableat any time there are funds to the dradit
of' such Improvement Dietrict Fund available therefor; the interest
cou,00ns attached to such warrants to bear the fac-simile signa-
tures. of the May -or and Clerk.
Section 7. That on the Fourth day of June, 1923, at the
Council 1-�hambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalspell,
Vontana, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., a regular meeting, the City
Council will hear and 'pass upon all protests tnat may be madS
again.9t againetrth4 making of such improvements or the creation,
of such district.
Section 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized dirrected
to give proper notice of the passage of this resolution by,*bli-
cation andimailing as required by law, such publication to be made
in the Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City
of' Kalispell.
