A RESOLUTION dedlaring the intention of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, to extend the boundaries of the City of
Kalispell to include that oertain platted tract or parcel
of land contiguous to the City of Kalispell, known as the
Western Addition to Kalispell and requiring the City CleAk
to publish notice of said intention on the part of said
City Council.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE, CITY COUNCIL OP TEE CITY OP KALISPELL:
That it is to the best interests of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, and of the inhabitants of that certain
platted tract or parcel of land known as the Western Addition
to Kalispell, a plat of which said Western Addition to
Kalispell is on file in the office of the County Clerk and
Rec*rder of Hlat#ead County, Uontana, Which said Western
Addition to KalispelliB contiguous to the City Limits of the
City of Kalispell, Montana, that said Western Addition to
Kalispell be included within the limits of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, and that It is the intention ofthe City
Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana, to pass a resolu-
tion to extend the boundaries of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
in such a manner so as to include said Western Addition to
Kalispell within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell,
Montana.
That the City Clerk of the City of Kalispell, Montana be
required to publish a notice once a week for two successive
weeks in the Kalispell Times, a newspaper of general circu-
lation published nearest to said Western Addition to Kalis-
pell,which said notice shall declare to the resident free-
holders of said Western Addition to Kalispell that the fore-
going Resolution has passed declaring the intention of the
said City Couneil to extend the boundaries of the said City
of Kalispell in the manner aforesaid, and notifying all
resident freeholders ofsaid Western Addition to Kalspell
that they may express their approval,or disapproval in
writing, regarding said proposed extension of the City Limits,
which said expression must be left with the City Clark at
any time within twenty days after the date of first publication

That on the 5th day of February, 1923, at the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalspell, Montana,
at 7:30 o'clock p.m., a regular meeting, the City Council
will hear and and pass upon all proteets that may be made
against extend*ng the boundaries of the City of Kalispell
to include that certain platted tract or parcel of land
contiguous to the City of Kalispell, known as the Western
addition to Kalispell.
Passed by the City Council on the 2nd day of January, 1922.
