RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL TXPR0VM�myNT ',DISTRICT NO. 189.
BE IT RESOLVED BY UIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALTsPELL, M.ONTAITA.
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City
Of KalizPell to create a special, improv'ement distrlot, hereby debignated
as Special Improvement District No. 189, and the boundaries of said proposed
sPecial improvement district are hereby declared to be as fonows.,
Commencing at the Northweat corner of Lot 1, Block 128,'thence sov�th
in a direct line in line with Vne eastern boundary of the alley in said
block 128 to the southwest corner of lot 6, block 128, thence east along the
south boundary line of lot 6 block 128 and lot 13 block 129 to the zouthea st
corner of lot 1Z block 129, thence north in a direct line in line with the
Western boundary of the alley in said block 129 to the Northeast corner of
lot 18 block 129, bence westerly along the north boundary of lot 18 block
129 and Lot 1 Block 1,28 to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the general character of the impro-7ements to be made
in aid proposed Special ImProvement District is as follows, to -wit:
The grading and gravelling of the street and the construction of park-
ing strips and planting of trees on Second Avenue West from ninth to tenth
streets and the construction of cement curbing along the parking strips.
Section 3. That the approximate cost of said improvements is $21.00.00.
Section 4� That the entire cost and expense of s�ich improvements, in-
cluding Btreet and &ley intersections, shall be assessed against the entire
district, each lot or parcel of land within such district to be assessed for
that part of the whole cost which ito area bears to the area of the entire
district ex elusive of streets, alleys and public places.
Section 5. That said assessments shall b paid for in six equal annual
installments Mreby extended o-ver a period of six years. Said asseosment
shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No.
Section 6. That said improvemente shall be paid for in Special Improve-
ment District Coupon Warrants issued against a -aid district in the sum of
$100.00 each, bearing interest at 6 per cent per annum from the date of re-
gistration until called for redemption or paid in full, interest payable
annually on the, first day of January of each year, payable six 'Years frOM
date and rede emable at any time there are funds to the credit of such Im-
provement 'District Fund mailable therefor; the Intereat coupons attached to
such warrants to bear the fac-simile signatures of the Mayor and Clerk.
Section 7. That on the 1st day of May, 1922 at the Council Chambers in
the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, Montana, at 7:30 o'clock P. U. a
regular meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon all. proteats that
may be made against the making of such improvements or the Treation of such
Section S. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the
proper notice of the passage of this resclution by publication and nailing
as required by law, such publication to "be made in the Kalispell Times a
weekly newspaper publiohed in the City of Kalispell.
