SPECIAL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held August 13, 1962
at 7:30 P.M. in accordance with the following notice given and acknowledged.
TO THE HONORABLE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
Gentlemen:
There will be a special meeting of the City Council Monday, August 13, 1962
at 7:30 P. M. for the following purposes:
Adopt Final Budget
Fix Tax Levy
We, the undersigned, being all of the members of the City Council, do
hereby waive notice of the date and purpose of the special meeting of the
City Council to be held Monday, August-13, 1962 at 7:30 P. M. and consent
to the transaction of any and all business to come before the Council as
designated above.

Mayor Flynn and all Councilmen present.
Resolution No. 2471, a resolution fixing the final budget for the fiscal
year 1962-63 was presented and read. Moved by Roberts that the resolution
be adopted. Motion seconded by Turner. Roll call vote taken with all
Councilmen voting for adoption,
Resolution No. 2472 fixing the annual tax levy for 1962-63 at 41 Mills
was presented; Smyser moved adoption of the resolution, motion seconded. On .
roll call vote all Councilmen voted for adoption.
Written protest from Iola Weller on cut in salary budget for Treasurer s
Deputy was received and filed.
Donald Leight of. 1112 Cloggett, Deer Lodge, Montana offered to sell a
tract of land across from the airport for $500.00.
Discription of Land: "Starting at a point across road from airport,
thence west 303 feet; thence north 132 feet; thence east 153 feet; thence
south 100 feet; thence east 150 feet; thence south 32 feet to place of
beginning,'.'
The Council adjourned on motion of Roberts. Seconded by .Jerrow.
Read and -approved as read this loth day -of September 1962.
