REGULAR MEETING
Regular monthly meeting of the Kalispell City Council on November 9, 1964
at 7:30 P. Mr
Mayor Flynn presided with alf Councilmen present.
Minutes of the regular- meeting of October 12th were''read. Roberts moved
approval as read. Seconded by Bjorneby and carried.
Officials Monthly Reports:
Report of the;Chief'of Police, Police Judge, City Engineer and City Sanitarian
for October and 'City Treasurer and City Clerk for September were examined and
approved on motion of Ellingson. Seconded by Jerrow and carried.
Committee Reports:
Roberts, Sidewalk and Curb; Curb cut for First Federal Savings and Loan
parking lot, on 2nd Avenue West Ibetween ist. and 2nd Street was granted by
Committee.
Bjorneby, Parks and Recreation; - Majority of Councilmen favor location of
any future aircraft facilities at Airport in the previously chosen area.
Homuth, Finance Committee; Reported allclaims examined and approved for
payment. -Moved 'adoption of report, seconded by Robert's and carried.
Homuth, Safety Committee; Accepted bid of Himsl'-Wohlwend Motors for new
Dodge police car;,;
Written report of Safety Committee was submitted recommending changes in
traffic control and parking at'various locations. Roberts moved adoption of the
report. Seconded(by Smyser and carried.
Moved by Smyser that 2, 12 minute parking meters be installed in front. -of the
Daily Inter Lake and regular meters on East Bide of 1st. Avenue West between 4th
and'5th Streets. Seconded and carried.
Eddie Eiselein made written application for manager of swimming pool next
season. Homuth moved that` he be °hired for this period. Seconded and carried.
Following bids were received for Gasoline and Diesel fuel for next 12 months.
