at 7:30 P. M. in accordance with the following notice given and acknowledged*

CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA-
Gentlemen:
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Council Friday, July 24, 1964
at�7i3O P.- M. for the following purpose:
AdoptPreliminary Budget
We, the undersigned, being all of the members of the City Council', do
hereby waive notice of the date and purpose of the Special Meeting-of'the
City Council,to'be I held Friday, -July 24, 1064 at 7:30 P.A., and consentto
-the transaction of,the-above and any other business that may properly come
before the Council,.

Mayor Flynn presided., Counsilmen Bjorneby, Homuth, Jerrowi Lenon"Smyser
and Turner were present. Ellingson and Roberts absent.
Moved by.Smyser'that the Librarians salary be Increased $500.00 per year.
Seconded by Lonon and carried
Moved by Homuth and seconded, by Smyser that the levy for Police Penttovvbe
3 Mills. Motion carried.
Moved by Homuth that the preliminary budget, as revised, be adopted -as the
preliminary budget for 1964-65 and that resolutions No. 2532-$ 2533, 2534 and
2535 fixing the assessments for Oil Sprinkling -and Maintenance, Water Sprthkltng,
Garbage collection and Street Lighting for 1964-65 be adopted and the City Clerk
publish required notice that these are on file and open for inspection. That
the Council will meet on August 5. 1964 at 7:30 P. M. at which time any taxpayer
may'appear and be heard for oragainstall or any part of said budget and
resolutions. Motfon seconded by:Bjorneby. On roll call vote all Councilmen
voted for adoption.
Turner moved that regular meeting scheduled for August 3rd be postponed
to August 17th. Seconded and carried.
Moved by Lenon that call for bids be authorized for new ba'ckhoe for:Water.
Department; addition to Water Works Warehouse and Pump House for new well,
Seconded and carried.
