08/05/70 City Council Minutes (Budget Hearing)BUDGET HEARING
A meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held in the
Council Chambers of City Hall at 7:30 P. M., August 5, 1970 for
the purpose of conducting a Budget Dearing. Mayor Bjorneby
presided. Councilmen McCormick and Hensley were absent.. _Ail
other Councilmen were present.
No one appeared to support or protest the Preliminary
Budget.
Mayor Bjorneby and Councilmen reviewed several items of the
budget.
Councilman O'Brien moved Police Chief Waggener pare line
items of the Police Department Budget in the amount of $2,270.00
prior to the August 10, 1970 Council Meeting. 2nd Councilman
Roche. Carried.
Councilman O'Brien moved anticipated general fund revenue
be increased $2,100.00. 2nd Councilman Roberts. Carried.
Councilman Miron moved the following changes in the Oil
Sprinkling Budget: Gravel item be restored to $20,000.00;
Road Oil item be reduced to $5,000.00. 2nd Councilman Riley.
Carried.
Councilman Turner moved adjournment. 2nd Councilman O'Brien.
Carried.
