A Special Meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held January 22,
1970, in the Water Department Office in accordance with the following notice
given and acknowledged:
TO THE HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNCILMEN
CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
Gentlemen:
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Council Thursday, January
22, 1970, in the Water Department Office at 5:10 P.M. for the following
purpose:
TO CONSIDER: Resolution No. 2757 - Resolution of Intention
to Annex Valley View Apartments Site Addition
#16 to the City of Kalispell, Montana.
We, the undersigned, being all of the members of the City Council, do
hereby waive notice of the date and purpose of the Special Meeting of the
City Council to be held Thursday, January 22, 1970, at 5:10 P.M., and
consent to the transaction of the above and any other business that may
properly come before the Council.

Mayor Bjorneby presided at the meeting. Councilmen O'Brien and
Hensley were absent.
Councilman Riley moved adoption. of Resolution No. 2757 - a resolution
of intention to extend the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Mont-
ana, to include Addition No. 16, Valley View Apartments, to be zoned NO. 1
RESIDENTIAL. Seconded by Councilman Roberts. Roll call vote. All voted
aye.
City Clerk Beardslee requested permission to attend an IBM demonstra,
tion and school in Helena January 27th or 28th.
Councilman Miron moved the City Clerk be granted permission to attend
the school and demonstration, and be allowed $13.50 expense allowance.
Seconded by Councilman Turner and carried.
Councilman Roche commented on the excellent job that is being done
in the snow removal operation, and complimented City crews for the fine
job of snow removal.
The meeting was adjourned by Mayor Bjorneby.
