There w_ l be a Special Meeting of the City Council, Monday, May 10, 1976, at 5:00 P.M.,
at City Jall for the following purposes:
Open Bids for Black Dirt
Authorize Mayor to sign contracts for Mansion
tire, the undersigned, being allof the members of the City Council, do hereby waive notice
of the date and purpose of the Special Meeting of the City Council to be held Monday,
May 10, 1976 at 5:00 P.M., at City Hall and consent to the transaction of the above and
any othei business that may properly come before the City Council.

Councilman Daley moved the bids be referred to the park committee with power to act.
Seconded by Councilman Schwartz. Carried.
Mayor Happ asked for council authority to sign 4 contracts with persons or companies
doing restoration work on the Conrad Mansion Museum.
Councilman Granmo moved Mayor Happ be authorized to sign the mansion museum contracts.
Seconded by Councilman Sliter. Carried.
Mayor Happ reported a letter from Donald R. Judge, Field Representative, Council #9
of AFSCME Union, Helena, Montana. The letter stated that he did not receive notice
of the cancellation of the meeting with the local union and Leonard York, City
Labor Consultant in time to save him a trip to Kalispell. Therefore, he asked that
the City of Kalispell reimburse his expense in the amount of $101.70 (458 miles
15¢ and lti days per diem).
Councilman Daley moved that the request by Xr. Judge be denied because he was given
notice on April 28th of the ca3loellation of the meeting on April 29th and because
he was not invited to the meeting by the City, but by Local #256. Seconded by
Councilman O'Boyle. Carried.
Councilman Sliter moved that fire insurance on the Conrad Mansion Museum for 1975-76
and future years be charged against the park fund rather than donated mansion funds. I
Seconded by Councilman Daley. Carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
