A REGULAR MEETING OF THE KALISPELL CITY COUNCIL WAS HELD AT 7:30 P. M.- IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL, JULY 22ND9 1971. MAYOR BJORNEBY PRESIDED. ALL COUNCILMEN PRESENT. Special Assessment Resolutions - Councilman Thomas moved adoption of Resolutions No. 2812 - 2813 - 2814 - 2815, Resolutions estimating the costs of Oil Sprinkling and Maintenance, Water Sprink- ling, Garbage Removal and Street Lighting. Seconded by Councilman Miron. Roll Call Vote. All voted aye. Ordinances - Councilman Thomas moved enactment of Ordinances 790 and 791, Ordinances amending Section 345.1 and Section 3-20 of the Code of the City of Kalispell, Montana, and declaring an emergency. Stockholm Bar Beer Beer On Premise Off Premise Liquor XX XX XX XX XX Councilman Miron moved acceptance of the Liquor & Beer License Applications subject to review by City Attorney Donahue. Seconded by Councilman Daley. Carried. Preliminary Budget -- Budget revisions were reviewed by the Mayor and Councilmen, Police Chief Waggoner requested restoration of the increase -in car expense allowance. Councilman Miron moved the $360.00 be restored to the car expense allowance item in the police department budget --police chief and plain clothesman to received $75.00 each per month - assistant police chief $50.00 per month. Seconded by Councilman Thomas. Carried. Fire ChIef,Peters - Chief Peters expressed need for adding 4 additional men to meet fire rating bureau standards and requested council reconsider rate Increase for rank of assistant chief.
