Resolution of intention to create sep'eaial improverient District Yo. 1760,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COLMCIL OT THE CITY OF KALISPIMLP MONTAKAO-
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council d�ED the City
of Kalispell to create a special Improvement district, herejqy designated
as Special Improvement District No. 176 arid the boundaries af said prop-osdq
special improvement district are hereby declared to be as follows, Gommencv,��
ing at the northeast corner of lot nine in block 101, thence wei�VoTly in
a direct line to the northweat corner of lot four in block 102, thence'in
a direct line southerly in line with the easterly boundary line oi th-e a11W
in said block 102 to the center of eighth street, thence easterly'along,
the center of eighth street to an intersection of a line whioh is an ex-,
tension of the westerly bound,,ury line of the alley in block 101, thence in'
a direct line to the place of.beginning.
Section 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made
in said proposed Special Improvement District is as followst to -wit) The
construction. of a standadd concrete cross -walk across fourth avenue east,
on the north side of its intersection with eighth street,
Section 3. That the approximate cost of said improvements is .$600001,
Section 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improvements, , in
cludinS street and alley interaections, shall be assessed against the en-
tire district, each lot or parcel of land within such district to be 'assess.
ed for that part of the *hole cort which its ;area bears to the area of the
entire district exclusive of streets,*alleys and public places.
Section 5. That �5aid assessment shall be paid for in one equal ann
ual installmentz� hereby extenCied- over a period of one years# Said assess-
ments shall con;�titute a 'fund to be known as Speci al Improvement District
Fund No. 1769
Section 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in -sspec1',-,),1 Im-
Proveraents District Coupon Warrants issued against said district in the
sum of $100*00 each, bearing interest at 6 per cent, per annum from,the
date of registration until called for redemption or paid in full, interest
payable annually on the first day of January of each year, payable three
years from date and redeemable at any time there (are funds to the credit
of such improvement District Funds available thereofr; the interest c.oupon
attached to such warrants to bear the f��-i,c_zimile signatures of the Vayor and
Clerk.

Section 7. That on the 6th day of October 1919, at the Council Cham-
bers, in the City Hall of -the City of Kalispell, Yontana, at '*/;30 o'clock P.
M. a regular meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon all protests
that may be made against the making of such improvements or the creation
of such district* ,
Section 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to �3ive
the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and
mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the Inter Lake
a daily newspaper publ.ished in the City of Kalispell*
