RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREL'sATE SPECIAL IMPROVOMPliNT LIGHTING
DISTRICT Ho
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISY19LL,
MONTANAO
Section 1. That it is the 2".ntention of the City Council
of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement lightin'g
diatriat hereby desikrnated as Special. Improvement Lighting D-is-
trict No. 29 for the prupose of 1.1ghting Sixth Avenue East,of the
City of Kalispell, as follows to -wits From a point one hundred
fifty feet south of the soutli 11na of Washington Street, to the

north 11-ne of California Street,
Seution 2* That the boundaries of sucA proposed specia 1
improvement lighting listrict are as follows: Beginning at a point
in the center of the Public School Groundu-, thence northerly par**
alleling the west line of Sixth Avenue East to the north line of
California Street, thence easterly on the north line of California
Street three hundred sixty three feet, thence southerly parallel-
ing the east line of Sixth Avenue East to a point one hundred
fifty feet south of the north line of block eleven, thence wset-
orly to the place of beginning.
Section 3. That the general character of tfte improve-,,
ments to be made in the said proposed special. improvement lightin&
district is as follows, to -wit, the 'Procuring and erecting of
poats wires,, lamps and other suitable and neoeaaary appliances,
for the prupose of li&hting those parts of the avenues, streets
and Public hii�.4wa�ya of the Ci:ty of Kalisl)ell -hereinbefore des%o
cribed*
Seetion 4. That the approximate of the cost of the
improvements to be made is the sum of $4.35, and an approximate
estimate of the cost of maintaining the li6�,hts in the proposed
district and supplyinS electrieal current therefor for the first
year is the sum of $12906ol and three fourths of the cost shall
be assesoed against the property embraced within the districat
abutting such avenue*

Council Chaxftbers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell at
seven thirty o'clock F* U. a rej�ular raeetin,6, the City Council
will hear and pass upon all protests that may be made a6ainst the
making of Esuch improyements or the. creation of sucia district.
Section 6. The City Clerk is Aereby authorized and directed
to give the proper notice of the pasuage of this resolution by pub-
lication and mailing as required by law, such publication to be
made in the Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published in the City of
K-ilispell.
