Resolution 687 - Resolution of Intent - Special Lighting District 30M Resolution No 667 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IM)?R0V&=1NT LIGHTING DISTRICT No. 3o. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPi',LL, MONTANA. Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council, of the City Of Kalispell to create a special improvement lighting district hereby designated as Special Improvement Ligh,ting District No. 3o, for the pUrPose Of ligilting Seventh Avenue East of the CitY of Kalispell as follOW8, tO-Wit: From a point one hundred fifty feet south of the south line of Washington Street to the north line of California Street. Section 2. That the boundaries of sucl.1 proposed special improvement lighting district are as follows: Beginning at a point in the center of the alley in blodk ten opposite the south east corner of lot three, thence northerly paralleling the east line of Seventh hvenue East to the nortil line of California Street, taence westerly on the north line of California Street t�iree hundred sixty- six feet, tnence southerly paralleling the west line of Seventh Avenue East to a point one hundred fifty feet south of tkie south line of Washington Street, thence easterly to the place of beginning. -Section 3. That the 6eneral cliaractor of the improvements to be made in said proposed special improvement lighting district is as follows, to -wit; the procuring and erecting of posts, wires. lamps and other suitable and necessary appliances, for the purpose of lighting those parts of the avenues, streets and public highways of the City of Kalispell hereinbefore described. Section 4. That the approximate estimate of the cost of the improvements to be made is the sum of $4.35, and an approximate estimate of the cost of maintainin" the lights in the proposed dis- trict and supplyinj� electrical current therefor for the first year is the sum of $129.6o, and three fourths of tae cost shall be as- seseed a,-.ainst the property embraced wit.din the district abutting such Avenue. Section 5. That on the 6th day of January 1919, at the Oouncil Chambers in the City Hall of tne City of Kalispell, at seven thirty o'clock P. M. a regular meeting the City Council will hear and pass upon all protests that may be made against the making of such improvements or the creation of such district. Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and di- rected to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolu- tion by publication and mailing as required bj lao, such publi- cation to be made in the Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published in the City of Ralispell.
