RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPEMAL IMPROVIMNT LIGHTING
DISTRICT No. 31.
BE IT RESOLT-33D BY THE CITY CO'O'NCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA4
Section lo That it is the intention,of tiae City Coun-
cil of the City of Kalispell to create a special improirement light,*
ing district hereby designated as Special Improvement Li$shting
District No. 31, for the purpose of lightin6 Fifth Avenue West
of the City of Kalispell as follows to wit, From a point one
hundred eiglity three feet southerly from the southwek�t corner of
lot 7 block thirty and the southeast corner of lot six block
one hundred fifty three, to a point opposite the lot lines of
lots nine and ten block ten,'and three and four block one hundred
forty nine.
Section 2o That the boundaries of such proposed Special
Improvement Lighting District are as follwwal Beginning at the
center of blook ten, thence sout]-ierly paralleling the east line
of Fifth Avenue West to a point one hundred eighty three feet
southerly from the center of the alley on the south line of block
thirty, thence westerly paralleling the south line of blocks thirty
and one -hundred fifty three, three,.hundred sixty six feet, thence
northerly par'alleling the west line of Fifth Avenue West to -the
center of block one hundred forty :,��seven'� thence eaeterly to the
place of beginninge

ments to be made in said proposed special improvement lighting
distriet.. is as follows, to -wit; the procuring and erecting of postq
wires, lamps and other suitable and necessary appliances,, for the
purpose of lighting those parts of the avenues, streets andplAb-
lie highways of the City of Kalispe"11 hereinbefore deacribedo
Section 4* That the approximate estimate of the cost
of the improvements to be made is the sum of $4o35, and an
approximate estimate of the cost of maintaining the lights in
the proposed district and supplying electrical current therefor
for t-ae firat year is the sum of $129*6o, and three fourths of

the district abutting such Avenue,
Section 5v That on the 6t1i day of January 1919 at the
Council Chwibers in the Citv Hall of' the City of Kalispell, at
seven thirty o"clock P, V. a regular meeting the -City Council
will,hear and paso upon all protests that may be made against the
making of such improvements or the creation of such district.
Section 60 The City Clerk is hereby -authorized and di�=
rected to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolu-
tion by publication and mailing; as required by: law, such publica--
tion to be made in the Inter Lake, a'daily newspaper published in
the City of Kalispell*
