RESOLUTION OF INTLIMON TO CREATE SPECIAL IVPR0VAfENT LIGHTING
DISTRICT N04 20
BE IT RESOLV M BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TITE CITY OF YJMISPIELL,
MONTANA:
Section 1 That it ie the interticr of the City Ccurcil
of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvemert Lightirg
District hereby designated as Special Improvement Li�,,:hting District
No.20 for the purpose of' lighting Ninth Averue West of the City -
of Kalispell as follows� to wit; From a point,opposite lot
libe between Lots Nine and Ter of Block Six, and Three and Four
of Block FiveHigh School Addition, to a point.opposite, lot line
between Lots Nine and Ter. of Block One Hundred Seventy-three, and
Lots three and Four of Block One hundred seventy-two,
Section 2 That the boundaries of such proposed Special
Improvement Lighting District are as followz., Beginning at the
center of Block Six, of the High School Addition; thence north-
erly paralleling the east line of 'Ninth Avenue Viest to the center
of Block Ore Hundred Seventy Three; therce westerly along the
lot line betweer. Lots Nine and Ter. and Nine and Ter. produced,
to the West boundary line of the City; thencle ale _g the
west boundary line. of the City to the center of the alley betweer.
Blocks Nine and One Hundred Eighty.-On,.e, thence southerly parall-
eling the weet line of Ninth Avenue West to the center cf Block
Five* thence easterly te the place Cf �eglrn3.ng.
Section 3 That the general chare.cter cf the improvements
to be made ir. eaid proposed special improvement Lighting District
is as follows, to wit: the procuring;and erecting of posts, wires,
lamps and other euitaL)le and necessary appliances for the
purpoee of lighting those:parte of the avenues, streets and public
highways of' the City, of Kalispell hereinbefore deectibed,
Section 4 That the approximate estimate of the cost of
the improvements to be made is the sum of $4*35 ard an approximate
estimate of the cost of mairtaining the lights in,the proposed
district and supplying electrical current therefor for the first
year is the sum of $129*600 and three fourths of the cost shall
be assessed against the property embraced within the distritt
abutting such Ninth Avenue West.
Section 5 That or. the 6th. day of' January 1919 at the
Council Chambers, ir. the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, at
sever thirty ciclock,p.m. a regular meeting, the Ci,ty- Council
will hear and pass upor. all protests that may be made against the
mak i r. g of such improvements or the creation of' such district.
Section 6 The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to give the pr oper notice of' the passage of this reeblution by
publication and mailing as required by law, such publication to
be made in the Inter Lake, a &A-11y newspaper published ir. the
City of Kalispell*
