RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEHENT LIGHTING
D15TRICT Nos 23*
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF Tiffie CITY OF KALISPELLf
MONTANAQ
Section 1, That it is the intention of the City Council
of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement lighting
district hereby deoignated as Special Improvement Litf;hting District
Foo 23t for the purp9se of lighting Second Avenue West of the City
of Kca,lispell as follows to -wit: From a point opposite the south
west corner of lot thirteen of block twenty seven, and the south
east earner of lot six block twenty eight to a point opposite the
lot line between lots fifteen and sitteen of block seven, and loto
three and four of block eight.
Section 2. That the boundries of such Special Improve-
ment Lighting Districts are as followso, Beginning at the center
of the alley on the south line of block twenty seven, thence north-
erly paralleling the east line of Second Avenue West to the center
of block seven, thence westerly to the center of block eight, thence
soutberly paralleling the west line of Second Avenue West to the
center of tiie alley on the soutii line of blokk twent�:- ei6ht, themee
eaBterly to the place of beginning.
Section 3a That the general character of the improve.
ments to be made in saild proposed special improvement lightin6 d11800
trict is as follow-st to -wit; the procuring and erecting of posts,
wires, lamps and other suitable and necessary appliances for the
purpose of lighting thoses parts of the avenues, streets,, &nd pub.
lic highways of the City of Kalispell hereinbefore deacribed.
Section 4# That the approximate estimate of the cost o f
the improvements to be made is the sum of 44*35, and tka an approx.
imate estimate of the coet of maintaining the lights in the proposed
district and supplying electrical current therefor for the first
year is the sum of $129#6ot and three fourths of the cost shall be
assessed against the property embraced within the district abutting
such avenue.
Section 5* That on the 6 th day o f January 1919 at the
Council Chambers in the City fiall of the City of Kalispell at
seven thirty o'clock P. V. a regular meeting the City Council will
hear and pass ppon all proteets that May be made against. the making
of such iroprovements or the creation of such district.
Section 6* The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by pubw*
lication and znai ling as required by law, such publication to be made
in the Inter Lake, a, daily newspaper published 'in the City of,hal-
