RESOLUTION NMER 668
RESOLUTIONNOF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROMWENT LIGHTING
DISTRICT NUIMER 11
Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Yonte
Section 1 That it is the irtertiorncf the City Courtil
of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvemert lighting
distriot hereby designated as $pecial Improvemert Lighting Distril
No. 11 for the purpose of lighting Ifair. Street of the City of
Kalispell as follows, to wit; Froma point opposite lotli-ne between
Lots Nine and Ter., block Two Hurdrded Fifteen, and Lots Three and
Four Two Hundred Sixteen; therce northerly to Fourth Street.
Section 2 That the bour-daries.of such proposed Special
Improvemert Lighting District are as follows; Begirrirg at the
certer of Block Two Hundred Fifteer, thence northerly paralleling
the east line of Mair Street to a -point in the alley or the south
11re of Fourth Street; thence westerly or the south lire of Fatirth
Street to a point in the center of the alley of Block Seventy-five:
therce southerly paralleling the west 1�re of Main Street to the
center of Block Two Htirdred �-ixteer; thence westerly to the place
of begirring.
Section 3 That the general character of the improvemnrts 6
to be made ir- daid proposed special improvement Lightirg District
is as follows, to wit: the procuring and erecting of posts, wireo,
lamps ard other suitaLle and necessary appliances for the purpose
of lighting those parts of the averues, streets and puolic high-
ways of the City of Kalispell hereirbefore descriVed.
Section 4 That th-, approximate estimate of the cost of
the improvements to be made is the s= of $10.15 ard ar approx-
imate estimate of the cost of mairtairing the lights tn the
proposed district ard supplyirg electrical currert therefor for
the first year is the sum, of #302.40 and three fourths of the cpst
shall be assessed agairst the property embraced within the dietrict
abuttung such Nair. Street.
Section 5 That or. the 6th. day of Janu��ry 1919, at the
Council Chambers, in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell, at
sever thirty o'clock,p.m., a regular meeting, the City Council
will hear and pass upor all protests that may be made against
the makirg of such improvemerts or the creation of such district.
Section 6 The City Clerk is hereby authorized ard di-
-rected to give the proper notice of the passage of this resc-
lutior by publication and mailing as required by law, such
publication to be made in the Inter Lake, a daily newspaper
published in the City of Kalispell.
