Resolution of Intention to create Special Improrement Lighting Dis.-

P9 IT RRSOLVED BY THA CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA*
section 1 That it is the intention of the city council of
the city of Kalispell to create a special improvement lighting dis4
triet hereby designated as Special Improvement Lighting DistricteNoo
12, for the purpose of%jightlng First Avenue West of the City of Kal-
ispell as follows, to-wit-'O' From a poi nt one hundred ei4hty three
feet South of tile center of First Ayenue Weat, and its interseotion
with the center of' Twelfth Street, to Railroad Streets
Section 2* That the boundries of such proposed Special Light-
ing Distriet are as follows: Beginning at the Centex of Block Two
Hun dred Sixteen, thence northerly paralleling the east line of First
Avenue West 16i:the south line of Railroad Street; thence westerly a
along the south line of Railroad Street to a point in the center of
the alley in Block Th.i.rty Four; thence southerly paralleling the west
line of First Ayenue West to a point in Block "-�wo Hundred Sey.enteen
One hundred Eighty Three feet south of the center line of Twelfth
Street, thence easterly to the place of beginning.
Section 3. That the general character of the improvements
to be made in said proposed special improvement lighting district is
as follovs, to -wit: the procurin6 and ereoting of posts, wires, lamps
and other suitable and necessary appliances, for the Purpos-e of' light-
ing those parts of the avenues, streets and public hi4;hwaya of the
City of Kalispell hereinbefore described.
Section 4. That the approximate estimate of the cost of
tile 'improvements to belmade is the sum of $18.85f and an approximate
estimate of the cost of maintaining the lights in the proposed die..
trict and supplying electrical current therefor for the first year
is the sum of $561.6o, and three fourths of the cost shall be assess.

Section 5. That on the 6th day of January 1919, at the Coun-
cil Chambers, in the City Hall of the City of Kaliapell, at seven
thirty o'clock P* Us. a regular meeting, the City Council will hear
&nd pass upon all protests that may be made aj�ainst the making of such
improvements or the creation of euch Jistrict.
Section 6. The City Clerk ie hereby authorized and directed
to give the proper notice of the passage of this rezolution by pub9w
lication and mailing as required by lav, such publication to be made
in the Inter Lake, a daily ne-wspaper published in the City of Kalis-
