RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CR'E'ATE SPECII�L MU)OVEME'LIT LIGHT11IG DISAIP

That it is the intention of the City Council
Section
of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvem.ent lighting
district hereby designated as Spe,:�:ial Improvement Lighting District
Noo 15 for the purpose of lighting Fourth Avenue West of the City
of Kalispell a's follows, to -wit: From a point opposite lot line
between lots three and four in block sixteen, and lots nine and
ten in block fifteen, to the south line of Railroad Street*
Se c tl on 2* That the boundries of such proposed Special,
Improvement Li6htinL�, District are aks follows: Be6innini� at thc-;�
center of block sixteen, thence northerly paralleling the east line
of Fourt Avenue Wezt to the south line of Railrcad Street; thence
westerly along�- the south line of Railroad Street to the center of the
alley in block thirty one; thence southerly paralleling the west line
of Fourth Avenue West to the center of block fifteen- thence easter-
ly to the place of beginning*
Section 3. That the general character of the improvements
to be made in said proposed special improvement lighting district
is as follows, to -wit: the procuring and erecting- of polee, wires
lamps and other suitable and, neceseary appliances for the purpose
of lighting those parts of the avenues, streets and public hi6�,hways
of the City of Kalispell hereinbefore described,
Section 4. That the approximate of the cost of the im-
provements to be made is the sum of $15*95, and an approximate es.
timate of the cost of maintaining the lights in the proposed dis-
trict and supplying electrical current there -for for the first year
is the sum of �475&2o, and three fourths of the cost shall be as,,.
sessed against the property embraced within the diztrict abutting
such Fourth Ayenue West,
Section 5& That on the 6th day of January 1919., at the
Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell at seven
thirty o'clock P. Mot a regular meetir6, the City Council will hear
and xV pass upon all proteste that may be made against the making
of such improventents cr, the creation of such district.
Section 6. The City Clerk 'is hereby autlaorized and directed
to give the proper notice of the paesage of this resolution by pub-
lication and wailinj; as required by law, such publication to be
made in the Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published in the City of
Kalispell.
