Resolution 581 - Resolution of Intent - SID 164118 RESOLUTION NO. 581. RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 164. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA* Section I.. That is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement district,.hereby designated as Special Improve- ment Distrlet No. 164, and.the boundaries of said proposed speei'al improvement district are hereby declared, to be as follows.: Commencing on the east side of Fifth Avenue East at the northwest corner of block one hundred ninety- three; thence along the east boundary line of Fifth avenue East tb the southwest corner of said block one hundred ninety-three; thence along the n6fth boundcary line of Third Street to the point where an extension of the east boundary line of Sixth Avenue East would inter-, sect the said north boundary line of Third Street; thence in a direct line tothe southwest corner� of blook one hundredninety.-five- thence along the north boundary line of Fourth Street to the southeast corrier of block one hundred ninety-five; thence slong the west boundary line of Woodland Avenue to the northeast corner of block one hundred ninety-three; thence along the south bound- ary line of Second Street to the place of beginning; Including all of blocks one hundred. ninety-three and -one hundred ninety-five; such being the district hereby declared by the City Counell tO be benefited by the contemplated improvements herc--�,,in mentioned and such im- provements in the opl.nion of the City Council being of more than local or ordinary Public benefit, Section 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed Special Improvement District is as follows, to -wit: The reconstruction of a sanitary sewer from the northwest corner of block one hundred ninety-five diagonally across Third Street to the intersection of the north line of Third Street with the alley in block one hundred ninety-three and thence along the alley in block.one hundred.ninety-three and to 8n intersection with the sewer in Second Street; with all necessary manholes, flush tanks and appurtenances. Section 3. That the approxima te cost of said improvements is $370.00. Section 4. That the entire cost and. expense of such improvements, including street and �-)_lley intersections,, shall be assessed against the entire district, each lot or parcel of land within such district to be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district exclusive of streets, alleys and public places * �Section 5. That said assessmey�t shall, be paid for in three equal annual installments hereby extended over a period of three years. Said assessments shall constlWb a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No.164. Section 6.
