RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO -CREATE SPECILL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 165-A
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY C0UNf1JL.'0F THE CT TY OF KALISPELL.
MONTANA.:
Sectmion 1. That it is the Intention of the City
Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special improve
ment district, hereby designated as Special Improvement Di's-
trict No. 165, and the boundaries of said propos ed-special
improvement district are hereby declared to be as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of.block one
hundred forty-four; thence along the south side of Eleventh
Street to the northwest corner of said block- therice along
the east side of Second Avenue -West to the southwest corner
of said block; thence along the, north side of Twelfth. Stroet
to the southeast corner of said block; I thence along the wrest
side of First Avenue West to the place. of beginning: contain-
Ing all of block one hundred forty --four.
Section 2. That.the general character of the
Improvementg to be made in said proposed Special Improvement
DiStViCt�2 is as followsi to -wit:
The Construction of an eight inch sanitary sewer
with man hole.s, flush tanks and other appurtenances, commelle-
Ing at the, Point of Intersection of the allezy in block one
hundred forty-four with the north line of Twelfth Street, thence
through the alley in block one hundred forty-four and to a
connection with the sewer in J,�,'leventh Stree�,t.
That the approxima.te cost of saj�j jm:,
Section 3.
Provements is $360.00.
Section 4. That the entire cost and expense of
such improvements, including street and alley Intersections,
shall be assessed against the entire district, each lot or
parcel of land within such district to be assessed for that
part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of
the entire district exclusive of streets, alleys and public
places*
Section 5. That said assessment shall be paid
for in three equal annual installments hereby extende d over
a period of three years. Said assessments shall constitute
a fund to be known as Special Improvement Distr ict Fund No.
.165.
Section 6. That said improvements shall be paid
for in Special Improvement District Coupon Warrants issued
against said district in the sum of $100.00 each,bearing
interest at 6 per cent. per annum from the date of registra-
tion until called for redemption or paid in full, interest
payable annually on the first day of January of each year,
payable three years from date and redeemable at any time
there are funds to the credit of such Improvement District
Fund available therefor; the interest coupons attached to
such warrants to bear the fac-simile signatures of the Mayor
and Clerk.
Section 7. That on the third day of May, 1915,
at the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, at 7:30 o'clock p. m., a regular meeting,.
the City Council will hear and pass upon all protests that
may be made against the making of such improvements or the
creation of such district.
Section B. The City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of
this resolution by publication and mailing as required by
law, such publication to be made in the daily Inter Lake,
a daily newspaper published In the City of Kalispell.
