Performance Bond Reminders: Expecting one from Stratford Village Phase 1 and 2 to be
completed by June 30th. Orchard Village accepted a reduction of their Line of Credit. Muskrat
Slough expires in February, and Mark is waiting to hear back from them. National Flood has some
minor things with some of their parking. They have to put in their hydrant in the spring, and Fire has
a letter. They will need a performance bond. There is some barbed wire and an old smashed dog
house in the field down by the river that need to be cleaned up.
OLD BUSINESS:
139 — 1st Avenue West — expansion. There are two or three parking issues. This is
passed through Site Review pending resolution of the parking issues.
NEW BUSINESS:
None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS:
Liberty and Meridian — There is a request for a Conditional Use Permit on the property at
1060 North Meridian where there is presently a large house. Michael Blend would like to
move the house and put in a car wash.
OTHER REPORTS:
340 Main Street — Next to Starr Bikes. This will go through Architectural Review. They
are only redoing the store front.
Northridge Heights and Sherry Lynn Road — The Police Department has put up "No
Truck Traffic" signs in this area.
Meridian at Idaho Street — The traffic lights are not wired yet, as the left turn lane is no
longer there for traffic going south. This will not change until after the road construction next
summer. Anyone is free to contact the highway department to try to persuade them
otherwise.
Property North of Muskrat Slough — They are requesting a zone change and annexation.
This will be for a minor subdivision.
Sunnyside Drive — located at the north end of Ashley Drive. Coming in for annexation and
services. They want R-2 zoning.
Jody Middleton — His CUP is coming to the Council He is calling it the Ferenity Addition.
Addressing is a separate function and should be addressed on 6th Avenue.
CUP Memo — Mark stated that Public Works does not have any record or drainage plan for
many of the projects listed. He will follow up on these with either a letter or other follow-up.
New Firefighters — Brent mentioned that our nine new firefighters will be on shift soon
(January 28th), with their graduation from our Fire Academy on February 6th
The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 a.m.
