05-14-13 - Regular MeetingAMENDED AGENDA KALISPELL CITY PLANNING BOARD AND ZONING COMMISSION TUESDAY, May 14, 2013 The regular meeting of the Kalispell City Planning Board and Zoning Commission will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Kalispell City Council Chambers, Kalispell City Hall, 201 1" Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana. The Agenda for the meeting will be: A. Call to Order and Roll Call B. Approval of Minutes of April 9, 2013. C. Hear the Public — The public may comment on any matter on the agenda or not on the agenda, except the public hearing items listed immediately below. (Comments are typically held to 3 minutes or less.) D. Public Hearing: In addition, the Kalispell City Planning Board and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on the following agenda items. Following the hearing and board discussion, the board may make its recommendations to the Kalispell City Council for final action: 1. A request by Marilynn Richter to annex .77 acres of land and zone the land R-2 Residential upon annexation. The property address is 205 Leisure Drive and the property contains a single family residence. 2. A request by Orchard Village, LLP to annex .5 acres of land and zone the land B-2 General Business upon annexation. The property address is 57 Appleway Drive in Kalispell and the property currently contains a single family residence. 3. A request by Orchard Village, LLP for a conditional use permit to construct a 4-plex on a''/z acre tract of land. The property address is 57 Appleway Drive in Kalispell and the property contains a single family residence. The applicants propose to keep the single family residence and construct the 4-plex on the property. The conditional use permit is subject to a request (see agenda 42 above) for annexation with an initial zoning of B-2 General Business. E. Old Business F. New Business G. Adjournment Work Session — Immediately following the regular meeting: 1. A request from Gardner Investments LLC for a planned unit development (PUD) zoning overlay approval for two tracts of land located just north of the intersection of Highway 93 South and United Drive. The PUD is requesting approval to develop the westerly tract of land to accommodate a retail appliance business. No use is proposed for the easterly lot at his time. Next meeting: June 4, 2013 Note: Due to staff scheduling conflicts the regular meeting date for June has been changed. There will not be a planning board meeting on June 11, 2013.
