The survey information recently collected has been inserted into the ALP drawing. Additional buildings have been labeled and heights assigned tothem. | thought itwould beagood time torun your layout byyou. Please see the attached drawing. |fyou cannot read orprint it, | can mail itorhave the Kalispell office print itoff. We've redrawn your sketch to scale (except we modified it with the appropriate taxiway widths and object free areas) and | see afew items that weneed tudiscuss before going further: 1) As drawn, the apron, jet refueling mad, jet tank and one ofthe lots hangs off the property. This can be solved bycompressing the apron except we'll loose fioduvvnpoaitiono.hangar spots, etc The propedyie oun ent|abe|edos^oonmtrunbeas ement This can mean several things. One is we know that soil will need to be moved on that property for construction of the airport, but no facilities would beonit. Also, if the property isn't very useable to the current land owner, you may need to or decide to purchase it as an uneconomic remainder, in which case some it might be useable to you if there ienot asteep bank there. 2) Spacing on the row ofUwdovvnnclosest tmthe terminal would fit King Air 3OOs. To facilitate maximum sized B-|| aircraft all the way across would spread them out even more from 045ho more like 80' FAA design criteria for fiedowns are pretty generic and they leave much up to the owner's preference. 3) We need tnconsider eenoi-t,actorvehicle movements. In other words, ifthey are not allowed on the ramp, wmneed toprovide area for turning /backing. Those are just afew items etfirst glance. Let me know if you want us to massage the layout to maximizethe use of the area now that we have your concept, or if you would rather manipulate it again yourself first. Rick Donaldson, P.E.
