Here are several sketches that we worked up yesterday. They have been reviewed by Ken Munski
with NTL. I have a message into Flathead Electric and have requested an on -site meeting with our
inspector, Lance
Before we can proceed with the any widespread use of Geogrid, I would like the best and final price
to submit to the City of Kalispell in a Change Order. We heard ]ate on Tuesday your price of 55.20/sy
and right now this seem high given the unit price of the material and the minimal effort needed to
place it. If separation fabric costs are 50.90/sy furnished and installed, the installation of any flat
geo=Lile material is not 51.00+/sy.
We have received and reviewed the first pay request. I will forward it to the City of Kalispell, as soon
as we have an approved P-154 and P-208 submittal. It is imperative that these be complete submittals
meeting all specification requirements before they are to be paid and before we move onto any firm
"Modified Pavement Section".
With the Iack of moisture, we will continue to emphasize the need to keep the water truck busy on
keeping the dust down. Numerous complaints are being received and our RPR has made constant
requests for dust control.
We hope that the test section which we observed late Monday afternoon has been modified to 18" and
that it remains stable. We should get those results confirmed.
