Thank you for calling in your complaint about a low flying aircraft. It so happens that I was downtown doing business at City Hall when that aircraft took off. It was louder than normal for our airport. Upon investigation, I found out that the aircraft in question was a charter flight out of Spokane, WA. The aircraft was a Cessna 210, single engine aircraft owned by a Spokane firm. They had stopped here for a business meeting, refueled, and went back to Spokane. I have instructed the FBO to have a talk with the crew about our noise abatement procedures should the aircraft ever return to Kalispell City Airport. Red Eagle told me that the aircraft in question makes a couple flights a year to the Kalispell area. Please understand that aircraft can land at our airport, taxi up to a self service fuel pump, refuel themselves, pay at the pump with a credit card and leave without talking to anyone. Complaints like yours gives us a reason to go out and talk with the crew the next time they stop by. Thanks 0
