I'm traveling a lot lately and so I thought an email would be the best way to concisely answer your voice mail questions
about status and also update Jim.
Question #11: Status on getting a figure for Hatfield & Dawson so you can go to work on towers:
This figure (heights) will depend on the preliminary runway end elevation determined in the Preliminary Engineering
effort. That effort is dependent on the topographic survey that is underway.
Task Order #8 — Topographic and Control Survev - Status:

Task #10 — Legal Land Survey:
The topographic surveying effort included a records search of the properties involved which is complete. We have
collected virtually all of the property corners that are monumented for those properties. This will serve as the basis for the
property descriptions we will be developing for the Appraisers. We have not received this Task Order back yet either —
probably the same status as Task Order #9.
One reason is I wanted the surveying effort to be close to completion to make sure of the parcels involved. The other is
that our field crews have encountered some fairly extreme opposition to the idea of airport expansion and having their
property acquired.
