Thanks for taking the time to meet with me last week. I enjoyed catching up and it was good to pay the Kalispell office
a visit.
I do not think we talked about the engineering selection at all, but obviously we would very much like to continue
serving as the Kalispell City Airport Engineer. It would be very gratifying to see this plan progress from conception to a
reality. Please contact me or Ryan if you need any additional information, have questions, etc.
Regarding the CIP, I made the last round of edits to the FAA form as we discussed at the end of the day. I made one
additional change to the Phase III construction. The overall price -tag of $6.6M did not have the engineering, admin, etc
- so I added 10% for that as an approximation. The completed FAA form is attached here. You are welcome to send it
in yourself or I would be happy to make any modifications you would like to see and send it in to the FAA. If you send
it, please let me know so that I can be sure it gets done.
I also made the changes to the more detailed sheet that we discussed and it is attached here for reference. You will
note that the bottom line does not exactly match because of the rounding when transferred to the FAA form. All in all,
the point is to reinforce to the FAA the large financial need and the urgent but hopefully realistic timing of the need.
