New Location for KGEZ radio towers.
BACKGROUND: We have an option on the 20 acres of land outlined in
blue felt-tip. We have had discussions with the adjacent landowners on the east,
west and south sides of the property. We can place underground radials on
their property below plow depth, but no towers or support cables can be located
on their land. They plan to run sprinkler systems that cannot have obstructions
to their movement.
REQUEST: Provide us with drawings that depict the two tower
locations and the support cables. Give us a summary of how this can be done.
FISCAL IMPACT: Prepare a cost estimate to install the two towers,
microwave the signal back to the KGEZ studios on Highway 93 South via a small
tower at the studio site.
ALTERNATIVES: None, this is our best shot at this project. We need
this information ASAP.
