Gates/KGEZ TowersFredLeistiko From: Gary.Gates@faa.gov Sent: Friday, December 19, 2008 12:22 PM To: Rick Donaldson; Fred Leistiko Subject: Re: Kalispell City Airport - KGEZ towers Attachments: Kai City 2000 airspace.pdf Fred and Rick - as discussed, in order for FAA to be involved (reimburse) for any costs relating to the Tower relocation, an environmental determination prior to tower relocation if applicable would have to be completed (likely EA and airspace evaluation etc). We also previously discussed that the City will have to update the existing EA for the airport (prior to land acquisition grant). If an environmental will be accomplished for the towers it may make sense to incorporate this with the airport EA update since they may be connected actions (if federal funds in Tower relocation). I also spoke briefly with Mr. Stokes yesterday. He advised that he is willing to work with the City for the right price. He also asked that I send him a copy of the 2000 airspace evaluation of the towers (attached). Thanks for the update on the latest status, Gary M. Gates, P.E.
