This letter of understanding is between the City of Kalispell (City) an(
Woldstad of Wiley Dike Road, Kalispell, MT 59901.
WHEREAS:
The City of Kalispell wishes to acquire certain property rights, by swa
11, T27N / R21 W, Flathead County, Montana to erect radio towers to
radio tower, and
The City of Kalispell is working with adjacent landowners (Lakeside (
District, Mark Owens, William E. Danford) to accommodate the landowners, if feasible, in the
acquisition process, and
The City of Kalispell will be acquiring, by swap or purchase, at the appraised value, certain
lands for a Federal (FAA) project to relocate radio towers that are currently in protected airspace.
WHEREAS:
David G. and Jolene S. Woldstad own a certain tract of land known as Lot 4AC, Section 11,
T27N / R21 W, Flathead County, Montana containing 20 acres, more or less, and
David G. and Jolene S. Woldstad are interested in selling the rights in this property by purchase
or swap, and hereby give the City of Kalispell and/or their agents the right to access these lands
for the purpose of appraisal and engineering studies.
THEREFORE:
The City of Kalispell will undertake the process of acquiring the necessary appraisals and review
appraisals on the tract of land owned by Mr. and Mrs. Woldstad, and
The parties to this letter agree to negotiate in good faith to purchase or swap the land as outlined
herein at the appraised value determined.
