KALISPELL CITY PLANNING BOARD AND ZONING COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING
TUESDAY, JULY 10, 2012
The regular meeting of the Kalispell City Planning Board and Zoning Commission is scheduled on
Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 6:00'p.m. in the Kalispell City Council Chambers, Kalispell City Hall, 201
1st Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana.
The Agenda for the meeting will be:
A. Call to Order and Roll Call
B. Election of Officers
C. Approval of Minutes of March 13, 2012.
D. Hear the Public — The public may comment on any matter on the agenda or not on the agenda,
except the public hearing items listed immediately below. (Comments are typically held to 3
minutes or less.)
E. Public Hearings:
In addition, the Kalispell City Planning Board and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing
on the following agenda items. Following the hearing and board discussion, the board may make
its recommendations to the Kalispell City Council for final action:
1. A request from the Sparrow Group for a conditional use permit to construct a three story 40-
unit senior apartment building, to be known as Depot Place, on a two acre lot zoned B-4
(Central Business). The property is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Third
Avenue EN and East Center Street.
2. A request from Red Lion Hotels Limited Partnership d/b/a Kalispell Center Mall for a zoning
text amendment. The proposed amendment of Section 27.22.040 would allow certain changes
to existing electronic reader boards to be considered to be routine maintenance rather than an
alteration of the sign for purposes of the application of the sign provisions of the zoning
ordinance.
